Almost a year. Time Flies Like an arrow. (Fruit flies like a banana)

Gosh. What a neglectful blogger I have been.
Since last August... Wow.
It has been a trying year for sure. Mr C and I still have Nickole. Beckyhadababyit'saboy! (Very old joke from a TV commercial... about long distance rates!) Daniel got married. Samuel is dating a sweet lady. Mom Rose had a cancerous growth on her hand. Stephen T. is in Honduras on a missions trip, only recently back from Peru!
Kathie passed away in May. I have been at my Mom's since then, helping her, and working on my Dad's and Kathie's estate(s). That was only made court official last week.
I am always just sure things are about to settle down, just ahead after X event.
I expanded my flower bed this year, with Mr C asking if I was going to be there to take care of it. I was sure I would be. I am not.
I have been home 3 days since the 6th of May. Since then, my brother Rob has been hospitalized three or four times. Brother Eric at LEAST twice. Mom Rose once. She had outpatient surgery on her hand. BIL Bob has been hospitalized once since then. All of them have been at death's door.
I just try to keep on keeping on.
Nickole has learned how to navigate the airport and flown solo a couple of times now.
Yesterday was one of those times. Her trip got her as far as DFW... where a world wide computer glitch left her stranded. I drove to DFW and got her, then we went to see my Aunt Jean (91) and cousin Jeanie. It was a good visit. Nickole and I took the longer route back to Rose's... opting to go north to 380 and across 50+ miles of traffic lights and small towns, rather than face I-20.
We got back moments before Tyrel and Darren arrived at Rose's... so that we could get many of Kathie's cows to the sale barn for tomorrow's auction. Robbie is not in good health/ full strength. Nickole is pretty much scared of the cows. Ty, Darren, and I sorted and chased, chased and herded three loads  (Small trailer, small loads!) of cattle today. It was a learning process. We got the first load about halfway? and had two tires blow out on Darren's trailer. That led to figuring out how to change tires on a fully loaded trailer on the side of the highway. In the rain, if I failed to mention that part. Mom Rose came and got me, I loaded a jack and accoutrements to the truck, grabbed Tyrel for strength... and headed back to the stranded trailer. A good Samaritan had stopped. He was local. Went and grabbed his jack, and he and Darren had the two blown tires off and loaded into the fellow's car as I got back. The guy took Darren to the nearest tire shop and waited with him while new tires were put on the rims... then he jacked the trailer back up and helped Darren put the tires on. We all stood by the roadside and had a prayer time before going our separate ways.
Becky texted me that she had looked up our Good Samaritan.
He was a famous football player-  Stanley Richard. He had been a first round draft pick, playing for  The SanDiego Chargers, and Washington Redskins. We had no idea who he was while he was helping us. We are grateful, Stanley. After we got the first load delivered, we got a second load on the trailer. Sorted through several we are keeping, and while Rob and Darren delivered those to the sales barn... Tyre and I managed to get a third load of most recalcitrant, older cows with ATTITUDE into the loading bay. Once Rob and Darren returned... we got the third load onto the trailer. I went with Darren for this load, so Rob could get home. I am exhausted. Pretty sure I'm gonna feel this tomorrow!
That's all for now. Thanks for reading!
