We are now prequalified for the house we are supposed to go see tomorrow. There were some surprises along the way, including the amount the bank requires for a downpayment. So this may end up being a hinderance to us. Or it may direct us to buying a "real" house... less than half the amount on down payment, plus we would qualify for VA as well as "First Time Homebuyers".
We shall see what we shall see!
